| Nevada Northern's 4-6-0 no. 40 has spent the winter in the shop getting some attention from Scott Lindsay of Steam Operations Corporation. As he does more work on the locomotive, we'll be updating this page. | ||
 | Among the work is an overhaul of the lead, or "pony" truck. Note the rather simple construction of the truck fram, and the similarity of the axle boxes to the main driver boxes shown on other tutorial pages. | |
